About Garstang Camera Club

· We have many guest Speakers (some famous, some just very enthusiastic).
· Members evenings with workshops & tips (with real advice, not just “get a better camera”).
· Photo Walks, especially during those long hot and sunny summer days and evenings, (nature, street, and anywhere we won’t get arrested).
· Monthly Challenges (because who doesn’t love boasting rights?).
· Critique Nights (all very gentle and delivered with love!).
· Competitions – Want to prove your photo of a duck at sunset deserves to hang in a gallery. Get your work judged and earn eternal bragging rights. Enter for fun, glory, fame, and maybe a prize, actual trophies, maybe even chocolates, or at least a slow clap.

· Think manual mode is scary but want to know more, want to finally figure out what “depth of field” actually means,
· Like meeting nice, friendly and welcoming people who point cameras at everything and enjoy the thrill of capturing ‘that’ shot, even if it’s just a squirrel.
· Have fun and grow your skills – whether you’re shooting in full manual or full panic mode.
· Make friends who won’t judge you for taking 87 photos of a lamppost.

We meet every Wednesday evening, from 7.30pm at The Arts Centre in Garstang.
