Morning All
A snowy scene around, eh? Did anyone manage to capture a white(ish) Garstang for the calendar?
Many thanks to all members who managed to enter some images into the Humanity Competition; it all helps us learn what a judge is or is not looking for in an image – although, as usual, it is subjective!
I thought that Steve, overall, was a very fair judge and although he didn’t give many commended or highly commended awards, I was pleased he spent a lot of time over each image giving some crucial feedback and despite running over the allotted time I thought it was very much worth it.
So, well done to all who managed a ‘placement’ and especially to John who got the overall award with ‘Friends.’
Attached are the results in full.
Mobile phones
May I very, very respectfully request that, if possible, we don’t switch on mobile phones whilst a guest is talking or presenting ‘cos it can be distracting. If you need to have it on please, please use it very sparingly. That would be most appreciative – thanks.
