Another really good talk last Wednesday by Alf Myers on ‘Back from the Streets.’ I thought the judging part was, how shall I say, interesting!

Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU)

If anyone has decided to enter prints in the upcoming L&CPU Individuals Competition, we have now received details of the drop off points. None are especially local and it will be the entrant’s responsibility to arrange delivery. If anyone is wishing to do this, please contact Lewis for details.

Calendar images

Images of Garstang for the calendar: maximum of 4 (ish) images by Tuesday April 25th – Images to be in colour, (I have received some images in monochrome which, I now accept is ok), sRGB, within or maximum of 1600 x 1200, ratio of 3:2, and landscape.

If you need any help/information PLEASE just ask – it’s no problem!

  • Wednesday April 19th – final internal competition, Anything Goes Competition, judged by Nick Hilton EFIAP DPAGB BPE5*
  • Saturday April 22nd – Coffee morning here at the Arts Centre
  • Wednesday April 26th – presentation by Tim titled “West Africa”; plus, voting on the calendar images
  • Saturday 29th April – Events Cup, 1st destination – Kendal
  • Wednesday May 3rd – Presentation by Stan titled “Local Sports”. Calendar submission results.
  • Tuesday May 9th – Events Cup, 2nd destination – Cleveleys seafront, Cleveleys town centre and the Fleetwood Shipwrecks.
  • Wednesday 10th – AGM.
  • Thursday May 11th – Combined photo walks with Morecambe Camera Club here in Garstang – details to follow.
  • Wednesday 17th – Presentation of Certificates and trophies.
  • Wednesday May 24th – Review of images from May 11th at the Arts Centre.
