The Opening Night Cup competition winners were selected by those present at the first meeting of the 2026/27 season on 2nd September 2026.

Members can submit one projected digital image (colour or monochrome) taken in the last 12 months on any subject. Those present at the first meeting of the year award points to each image (which are presented anonymously).The scores are totalled up to determine the winners.
