Our Club, Our Way – Photography should be enjoyable!

At Garstang Camera Club we learn, share, encourage and inspire. We value creativity over trophies, participation over pressure and friendship over rivalry.

There is no single way to be a member of Garstang Camera Club. Every member is valued equally, regardless of experience.

From complete beginners to experienced photographers, we share what we know, support one another and grow together through our enjoyment of photography.

What matters most is taking photographs, sharing experiences, supporting one another and enjoying the hobby together.

Our aim is simple: to help each other to become better photographers while enjoying the journey.

Competitions are a valuable part of club life, but they are only one part and never compulsory. Alongside them are learning sessions, speakers, projects, outings, themed challenges and the simple pleasure of talking photography with like-minded people.

Whether you enter every competition or none at all, you are equally part of the club.
