Well done to all the members who made it to ‘The 3 Sisters race track’; very enjoyable time.

Lewis and I would like to confirm that Michael Orr is now Garstang Camera Club Programme Secretary. Many thanks Michael for stepping in.

A reminder of August dates:

August 29^th Monday – the club will have a stand at the summer fete in the grounds of Oaklands on Dimples Lane. If you are going, please say hello!

September dates: It’s busy!

Sept 3^rd Saturday – Preston Military Show, Fulwood Barracks, free entry, gates open at 11am.

Sept 3^rd Saturday – Paint Garstang; 9am – 4pm, judging 4.30, prize giving at 5pm.

We thought this could be a challenge for members. You could show your results at our first meeting on Wednesday 7^th Sept. You wouldn’t need to stand up at the front, we’ll show the images and you could talk about them.

Sept 7^th Wednesday – Our first club meeting of the ‘season’. We will be welcoming you all back to the regular club get-togethers and, hopefully, welcoming some new members. Programme for the evening to be sent out soon.

September 10^th Saturday – Events Cup destination – Kendal; details to follow shortly.

Sept 10^th Sat and Sept 11^th Sun – Lancashire Game and Country Festival at Woodacre Farm – PR3 1BN.

September 14^th – The speaker is Adrian Almond, ‘live’ in the Arts Centre; Title: A photographer in Transition.

September 21^st – The speakers are Alan and Julie Walker ‘live’ in the Arts Centre; Title: Bulgaria and Beyond.

September 25^th Saturday – Events Cup destination – Last one: Blackpool Zoo; details to follow shortly.

September 28^th – members evening.
