March 2026 News

Hello all and welcome to the March edition. Recent weeks remind me of a music group and a novel, Wet, wet, wet,  and the book , Fifty shades of grey ! The recent outdoor conditions for camera people.

At club level , we have enjoyed presentations on Landscapes in New Zealand and lastly, Urban and Street photography, this attempted to show that we don’t have to pass the Equator to make good images. We have also had our third competition Creatures and Plants of the world judged. Thank you to all members who submitted images and as the Judge commented “ many images of an excellent quality”

March 4th  gives us a ZOOM session by Kevin Pigney and his passion for Wildlife detailing locations, camera settings etc. Sounds good.

March 11th.  Judging of our competition, the Humanity Cup by Daryl Giles.

..    18th.  Paul Dunmall dicusses, Titles…why do we have them ?

..    25th  Our own Tim Flesher will talk on  “6 contrasting countries in Southern Asia “

April 1st. We have Ade Gidney presents  Landscapes within the UK……… Lake District  /  Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales.

A timely reminder to dust off the cameras, wipe the lenses and !! charge the batteries, both camera and personal.  See you in April.
